Please be advised the receptionist will ask you the nature of the problem at the time of booking you an appointment. They are bound by the same confidentiality policy as the clinicians and have been asked by GP's to gather an idea of the reason for your visit.
Appointments are 12 minutes long & are available between 08.50 -12.00 and 14.00pm -17.30pm. If you have more than one problem to discuss please tell the GP at the start of the consultation or the receptionist at the time of booking.
If you arrive more than 5 minutes late for your appointment you may not be seen.
PLEASE INFORM US IF YOU ARE UNABLE TO KEEP AN APPOINTMENT.
To avoid a wasted appointment, if you are calling to discuss a letter from a different health professional or any result please make sure we have the letter or result BEFORE the appointment is booked.
Our patients have a right to express a preference of doctor they wish to see, however, should an appointment not be available with that particular doctor at the time preferred, you may need to see another doctor who is available.
Named GP - Whilst you are still able to see the GP of your choice, all patients now have a named GP.
Over 40? Those who have not been seen in the last 3 years should make an appointment at reception for NHS Health Check. This is NOT a GP appointment, you will be seen by our health care assistant.
